PARTY CHIEF
The Party Chief logs the field activities and directs the crew during execution of field survey task. Attention to detail, the ability to work well with others, problem solving, and leadership are just a few qualities that make an excellent party chief.
INSTRUMENT OPERATOR
The Instrument operator is responsible for utilizing the equipment to assist the Party Chief in field data collection. Attention to detail, ability to adapt, and the ability to focus are just a few qualities of an excellent instrument operator.
RODMAN
The Rodman is responsible for assisting the Party Chief and Instrument operator in field data collection. Attention to detail, ability to learn on the fly, and the ability to follow verbal directions are just a few qualities of an excellent rodman.
CADD TECHNICIAN
The Survey CADD technician position is essential to the mapping process. Strong mathematical and technical skills are just a few of the tools that a good technician would use.
